Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for two cards created with the Abigail Rose Suite Collection. These would make nice Get Well or a Wedding/Anniversary cards and are really easy to make.
I used Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers on Basic White, which was stamped onto the CS, and Very Vanilla from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper, mixing in black glitter Washi Tape from our Halloween products.
I love the large linen ribbon in this suite collection and can’t wait to wrap that around presents. I bought a plain roll of kraft paper and am decorating that up per occasion rather than having separate rolls for events. I’m a minimalist and this works perfectly for me.
The Petal Pink/Very Vanilla card base is Crumb Cake CS and I used the coordinating Abigail Rose DSP for this project.
The Pool Party/Basic White card base is Basic White Thick CS that I stamped the images directly onto with Memento Basic Black ink and created my own coordinating designer series paper + Soft Sea Foam and Pool Party 6 x 6 Subtles Designer Series Paper.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with the A2 top-folding card bases described above and cut all of my designer series paper to size that were adhered to the card bases with liquid adhesive. I then applied the black glitter Washi Tape and cut it to size.
For the above card, I stamped the image I wanted to color in with our Stampin’ Blends with Smoky Slate ink, leaving the image atop of the Stamparatus lid to re-stamp the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink after I colored the images to freshen up the lines.
After coloring in the images, I stamped the same image around the Basic White Thick CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut it to size, and then adhered the panel with Seal.
I stamped the leaf bundle and flower onto Basic White and Very Vanilla Thick CS with Smoky Slate ink; once again leaving the images on the lid of the Stamparatus to re-stamp the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink after coloring in the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends and the flowers with Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
All of the images were cut with their coordinating dies.
For this card, I colored directly onto the Abigail Rose DSP with Stampin’ Blends and colored the sentiment images as described above.
Both of the image panels were adhered with Seal Adhesive.
For the sentiment panel, I cut a piece of Basic White and Very Vanilla Regular CS to 4 x 1 and punched in a banner. I stamped the sentiment to the far left of the panel in Memento Tuxedo Black and adhered both to the their respective card bases.
The flowers and leaves were adhered to the sentiment panel with a combination of liquid adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I liberally adhered our For Everything Fancy Sequins in pink and blue with our Fine-Tip Glue Pen. These sequins are great. They remind me of mermaid baubles with the pearls and rhinestones.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
