Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project that I just decided to pull together using products from the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog just mixing up whatever I wanted to without any real plan using the same products to create an autumn and Christmas card. These were so easy to make. You can find this suite collection on pages 42 – 44 of the Holiday Catalog.
I gathered the Merry & Bright stamp set and All About Autumn DSP from the Holiday Catalog with Cottage Wreaths stamp set and Gorgeously Made Dies from the Annual Catalog.
There’s a lot of rich colors in these cards, especially with the Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper.
The sentiments on the cards are from Merry & Bright with the images from Cottage Wreaths, which was a 2022 Holiday Catalog release that carried over to the Annual Catalog, along with the coordinating die-cuts; that’s a fantastic stamp set and dies that I use a lot.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with my Early Espresso card bases and cut the Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper to size … along with a piece of Very Vanilla Regular CS that I adhered the DSP to for reinforcement to support the Linen Thread that I knew I was going to tie at the bottom of the DSP and image panel.
I cut another piece of Very Vanilla Regular CS to 4-1/8 x 4-ish. I cut in the notebook die at the top of both image panels and then tore the bottom of the CS.
Both cards were created exactly the same only changing the sentiment and colors.
This autumnal card has Mossy Meadow stamped off x1 for the stick part of the wreath and Old Olive for the leaves. The acorns were stamped around the wreath in Pumpkin Pie with the berries stamped off x1 in Crushed Curry. The sentiment was stamped in Copper Clay and fussy cut. Copper Clay Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots were used to embellish.
This Christmas card has Mossy Meadow stamped off x1 for the stick part of the wreath and Old Olive for the leaves. The acorns were stamped around the wreath in Pecan Pie with the berries stamped off x1 in Pretty Peacock. The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock and fussy cut. Crumb Cake Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots were used to embellish.
For final assembly, I adhered the image panel to the specialty DSP with Seal. I wrapped Linen Thread around the bottom of the image panel x3 and tied a bow at the left. This panel was adhered to the card base with Tear & Tape.
The sentiments were adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
