Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for this super cute beach card created from the Spring Catalog’s Beach Day Bundle (162797), Sale-A-Bration Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (162975), and our Watercolor Pencils, along with C0untryside Corners Dies.
This bundle coordinates beautifully with the July 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit of Fun in the Sun, which offers you more beach-y sentiments, images, and paper kit contents.
I also brought in my favorite retired Layering Vellum Designs Paper for the right panel colored in with a Pool Party Stampin’ Blend Marker. I wanted the subtle white script to accent the DSP.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with a Basic White Thick CS base and cut a piece of Layering Vellum Designs Paper of white script that was adhered to an Adhesive Sheet then cut to size. I colored this panel with a Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blend Marker, peeled the adhesive off the back, and adhered to the right side of the card.
I then cut the wave die from Beach Day Dies from Basic White Regular CS that was adhered atop of the vellum paper with Seal Adhesive. The wave die gives this project great movement.
I then cut the Pool Party DSP from Softly Stippled and adhered this to the card base with Seal Adhesive.
I cut my image panel from Countryside Corners Dies and inked up a large Blending Brush with Crumb Cake and blended the ink from the bottom on up in an ombre style. I stamped the seashell image from Beach Day onto the image panel with Crumb Cake ink that was stamped off several times and stamped the bird in black at the top.
The images were stamped onto Basic White Thick CS with Smoky Slate ink and colored in with our Watercolor Pencils in rainbow order. I used a Blender Pen to smooth out the color. The images were re-stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut from their coordinating dies.
The sentiment was stamped at the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black.
For final assembly, the image panel was adhered was adhered to the card base with Seal and the images adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, Balmy Blue gemstones from December 2023 Paper Pumpkin and Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were used to embellish.
For the inside, I cut two more Countryside Dies from Pool Party CS that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Cascading Ruffles EF and the sentiment panel out of Basic White Regular CS. The sentiment was stamped at the top in Memento Tuxedo Black with the sandcastle image from Beach Day stamped at the bottom in Crumb Cake.
The sentiment|image panel was adhered to the Pool Party mat with liquid adhesive with the entire panel adhered to the inside with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
