Hello there! I’m working with the Forever Lovely Bundle today.
I’ve been going old school and stepping back lately using the techniques from long ago. I was poking around a bit, debated on whether or not to add a cardstock panel/mat under the image panel, and actually took some time to notice what a difference it made. Then I decided to share with you a before and after.
The above card is a simple A2 top-folding Lovely Lipstick card base with the image panel cut from Rectangle Stitched Framelits. The Forever Lovely stamp set is from the DistINKtive line with the flowers in Flirty Flamingo rolled in Lovely Lipstick and Crumb Cake rolled in Soft Suede to boost the colors.
For the above card, I stamped the Handwritten background image onto the Lovely Lipstick CS with the coordinating ink for a tone-on-tone look and interest. The image panel die-cut is 3-3/4 x 5-1/8 with the Soft Suede mat cut to 3-7/8 x 5-1/4, which left me with a Lovely Lipstick CS 1/4″ border that I attached to the card with dimensionals.
Three additional elements were added of Heart Epoxy Droplets, Flirty Flamingo 1/8″ ribbon, and a heart image stamped off 3x in Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo around the edges of the image panel. Little things count.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. I’ll see you back tomorrow for Simple Stamping where I’m going to have Stampin’ Blends tips and a few more Stamparatus and layering techniques featuring the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. Have a great day and God bless.

Beautiful flowers on this pretty card! I had not noticed the Forever Lovely set before… sometimes the sets are overlooked til I see them being used.
