Bokeh Effect Ink Blending

Hello there y’all! I hope you had a great holiday season. Today I am featuring Bokeh Dots and Enjoy Life with an inking technique.

The bokeh technique was popular a few years ago and has made a comeback in the raw form of the amazing Stampin’ Up! DistINKtive brand. The manufacturing process distinctly (hence the brand) weaves in tongues, grooves, gradation, texture into rubber or photopolymer.

I enjoyed using this type of brand to use a dauber sponging ink blending technique. I used Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive with ink daubers to apply color to the stamp masking around the image to lay down the willow and bird images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I would love to try this technique using different colors more geared towards spring. If you’d like to see a video, give me a shout out.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s project. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. Have a great day and God bless.
