Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for 2 more Whale of a Time Suite Collection concept art cards.
As always, the products and measurements are below for easy ordering and assembly. There is a lot of heat embossing, dry embossing, and vellum on the concept art cards.
The left card has an A2, top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Pretty Peacock card base. A piece of DSP cut to 4 x 5-1/4 was adhered to the card base with Seal+. Three vellum whales were punched out to adhere behind the Petal Pink image panel measuring 3 x 4 with the banner paper-snipped in via scissors. I stamped Smoky Slate ink using the dot image in the stamp set, Whale Done, in full strength and stamping off, 2/3 of the way up the Petal Pink banner. You do not ever have to use suite colors to make a project within the suite. Take it out of the box with complimentary colors. The whale was punched out with Pretty Peacock cardstock. I layered on the whale bottom punching out Just Jade cardstock with the spout punched out of Pool Party cardstock. I stamped Pretty Peacock ink with the dot image again at the top and tail of the whale. The whale was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the spout adhered with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and Take Your Pick tool onto the Petal Pink image panel. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark onto a piece of 3-1/2 x 3/4 cardstock that was heat embossed with white powder and adhered to the Petal Pink image panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Once the image panel was completed, I colored in a small Pearl with a Dark Black Stampin’ Write Marker and placed it where a whale eyeball would be to define the image. I then adhered the 3 vellum whales behind the Petal Pink image panel and placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. The Calypso Coral sentiment strip was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the image panel. I looped the Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon behind the image panel and sentiment panel, then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card base.
The right card has an A2, top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Blackberry Bliss card base. A 4 x 5-1/4 Just Just cardstock was dry embossed with the Seabed EF. This time, I used the DEbossed side to show, whereas with the 3-3/4 x 1-3/4 vellum cardstock, I used the embossed side to show. The seaweed images on a 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 image panel were all stamped off once using Just Jade and Pretty Peacock ink. The coral at the bottom of the image panel was stamped off with Calypso Coral once. The seahorse images were stamped in full strength with Calypso Coral and Blackberry Bliss. The Calypso Coral seahorse was fussy cut with Paper Snips and adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I hope that you join me tomorrow when we will be making another 2 cards, one of which is a shaker card, from this product suite collection for our Saturday video.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
