Curvy Christmas Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Curvy Christmas Card that I made with the new Quite Curvy Variety Bundle that is now available to you.

My measurements are going to be different than yours due to the curves, but this project is simple enough to look at and wing it.

I started with a top-folding A2, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Early Espresso card base. I put the 2 star stamps at opposite ends of a Clear Block A, and stamped the top half of the card base with Versamark ink. I sprinkled over Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder over the stars, shook off the excess powder, and then heat set with our Heat Tool.

These stamps are very long to cover a full 5-3/4 to 6″ on your project, as are the dies. This ensures that you can line everything up and not be intimidated by all of the curves. I really encourage you to pick up this bundle and create with me on Saturday, November 14, when I demonstrate this bundle to you.

I die-cut in the curves first on the cardstock before I stamped the image and sentiment, both of which are curved to follow the lines of the die-cuts. This really is easy to use. I love the font in the curvy sentiments. The Crumb Cake star pattern from Classic Christmas DSP, which is part of this bundle, was used for the lower 1/3 or so of the card.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. I embellished the card with Wonderful Gems and Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack with the gold twine.

The image panel was adhered with full-size Black Stampin’ Dimensionals onto the card base for dimension. The gold heat embossing with the die-cutting adds a lot of texture, and you know how I am about that.
