Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy window project created with the Dandy Garden Suite Collection.
Window cards are some of the easiest to create, yet add something out of the ordinary, which I believe is the endgame with papercrafting. Everything you do should have a little out-of-the-box element to it. I layered up this project with paper and DSP from the Dandy Garden Suite Collection.
As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.
I started out with a Misty Moonlight card base and layered on Regular Basic White and Dandy Garden DSP, with the layers cut 1/8″ from each other. The DSP was embossed with the largest Stitched Whimsy Die. I then centered the large shape from Tasteful Labels Dies onto the DSP and cut. I used my purple painter’s tape to place the DSP on top of the Basic White CS, placed this in my Stamparatus, centered my sentiment, then stamped with Versamark and gold heat embossed. Stampin’ Dimensionals were applied to the back of the DSP and adhered to the Basic White mat.
The butterfly was stamped onto Vellum CS and heat embossed with gold powder, then punched out with the coordinating Dragonflies Punch. I applied a very little piece of Tear & Tape to the center back of the Vellum butterfly to adhere to the Misty Moonlight punched Dragonfly that I adhered to the Basic White CS with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I folded up the wings a little bit for dimension, as you can see below.
Five various sized Rhinestone Jewels were adhered inside the window onto the Basic White CS.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
