Dandy Garden Ink Blending Birthday Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a birthday card created with Dandy Garden, So Much Happy, and Well Written Dies.

The Dandy Garden Suite Collection is carrying over to the new Annual Catalog with the So Much Happy Bundle and Well Written Dies that are currently deeply discounted retiring products on May 3, 2021. Reminder: The current January – June Catalog will be current until June 30, 2021, which is almost a 2-month window to combine products with more creative opportunities incorporating new products from the Annual Catalog.

This card was made using our fantastic Blending Brushes to blend on the Regular Basic White CS die-cuts from the Dandy Garden Suite Collection of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green ink.

The ‘happy’ die-cut is from Well Written and stacked 3x with Regular Basic White. The sentiments are from So Much Happy stamped onto Cherry Cobbler CS and heat embossed in our White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

All of the sentiments are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I started out with an A2 Misty Moonlight card base and layered on a piece of Dandy Garden DSP, also in Misty Moonlight. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I cut most of the stand alone dies from Dandy Garden from Regular Basic White CS and blended Cherry Cobbler onto the flowers with Garden Green for the stem and leaves. A Ladybug Trinket from the Dandy Garden Product Suite was adhered to the center of the flower, also known as the stamen. I glued the 4 layers of flowers together with our Fine Tip Glue Pen, which is not retiring, only applying glue to the center so I could lift up the pedals with my Take Your Pick tool for more dimension. There is a lot of texture and dimension going on here with the stacked die-cut, heat embossing, and ink blending.

At the last minute, I decided to remove the ladybug stamen and place it right above the first sentiment and used an Opal Round in its place. I wanted to balance out the card more by adding the white round.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project that was so easy to create. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
