Pansy Petals Suite Collection Concept Art Card + 2021 – 2023 In Colors

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a sneak peak Concept Art Card into the Pansy Petals Suite Collection on pages 28-29 of the new Annual Catalog, available on May 4, 2021.

This suite collection features all 5 new 2021-2023 In Colors of Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Fresh Freesia.

Other coordinating colors are Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, and Soft Sea Foam. This suite is going to fly off the shelves. The creative possibilities are endless.

This is a 23-image/sentiment photopolymper Pansy Patch stamp set with 2 sheets consisting of our exclusive DistINKtive images + an amazing set of coordinating Pansy Dies that will cut images from the stamp set, the stunningly beautiful Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, AND several stand-alone dies to layer up the pansies, much like our current and carryover Poppy Moments Dies, with even more detailed layering. Also included in the suite collection are these adorable gold Bumblebee Trinkets.

This Concept Art Card on page 28 of the new catalog features a little bit of all suite products. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

If you would like a new catalog sent to you, contact me.

I started out with an A2 top-folding landscape 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Soft Succulent card base. I cut 2 pieces of striped and gingham Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I cut the pansies from the designer series paper from the coordinating dies included in the suite collection. A Bumblebee Trinket was placed on the left. I brought in a Square Vellum Doily to ground the designer series paper and sentiment.

I built up this card by adhering the doily down first towards the left middle. Fresh Freesia gingham DSP was adhered flat towards the bottom half of the doily with a piece of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen striped DSP above the gingham. The sentiment was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a piece of Basic White CS.

The pansies and leaves were cut from the DSP. When I cut images from DSP, I also cut a piece of Basic White CS to adhere behind the DSP to provide more bulk to the image. This, of course, is a choice, as the DSP will stand on its own just fine. A Bumblebee 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dot was adhered to the stamen of the DSP, as an afterthought and not shown in the pictures.

The small pansy and leaf where adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive with the larger pansy and leaves adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Bumblebee Trinket was adhered with a Glue Dot.

This new product suite and In Colors are absolutely delightful to work with. I love how Fresh Freesia is a solid replacement for the retiring Purple Posy. The other new In Colors incorporate beautifully into our current color palette and you are going to enjoy them all.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
