Introduction to Hand-Penned + New Annual Catalog LIVE Tomorrow!

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a formal introduction to one of my favorite suite collections in the new 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog of Hand-Penned.

I strongly encourage you to purchase what you would like from retiring products that will no longer be on an order status as of midnight Mountain Time TODAY at an extremely deep discount. If sold out, I will have what you want with my BOGO.

I also wanted to show you in one project how Pale Papaya is a new favorite In Color of mine, as it’s so close to Petal Pink, which is one of my favorite colors, and the retiring In Color Purple Posy with the new In Color of Fresh Freesia.

My favorite set of dies, Stitched Be Mine, is now retired. Fortunately, in the Penned Flowers Dies, I still have my line dash scallop die.

I started out with an A2 top-folding landscape 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Misty Moonlight card base. I cut a piece of Basic White CS to 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 to adhere the DSP to. The top Hand-Penned DSP was cut to 5-1/8 x 2-3/4 with the bottom Misty Moonlight In Color dot pattern cut at 5-1/8 x 1-1/4.

I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from Color & Contour towards the bottom left of the In Color DSP. Where the DSP meets, I wrapped a piece of Just Jade Gingham Ribbon around the DSP panel, then adhered the panel to the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

The leaves on the floral images were colored with Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends, which is fantastic to work with, and you can see how close Just Jade is to the new In Color, which compliments our current color palette beautifully.

I stamped both floral images from Hand-Penned onto Basic White Thick CS with Smoky Slate ink and left the images on the door of my Stamparatus.

All 5 new In Colors have coordinating Stampin’ Blends. The left flower was colored in with Pale Papaya and the smaller flower next to it in Petal Pink. The flower bunch on the right was colored with Fresh Freesia towards the left of the flower and Purple Posy at the top right.

I then put my image panel back into the Stamparatus and re-inked the images with Memento Tuxedo Black to redefine the line art images. This is a hack that I have several videos on to eliminate any potential of ink smearing and keeping your images clean.

The flower on the left was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals at the flowers and leaves on the left with the stem adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The flower on the right was adhered with liquid glue towards the top right of the image with the lower half on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Hopefully the picture below will give you a good visual.

Genial Gems in glittered Pale Papaya were scattered about the card front to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
