Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created with Positive Thoughts and Quite Curvy for some simple stamping with a great color combination.
This is a very fun and attractive card that was easy to create in a jif. Ink splattering with the Opal Rounds accent this project nicely + stamping off and simple coloring/stamping using 2 images from Positive Thoughts and the coordinating Nature’s Thoughts Dies. The sentiment is from Quite Curvy.
I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Very Vanilla Thick card base and splattered Neutrals Collection in Basic Black ink from a Stampin’ Write Marker by using the cap of the marker and directing it towards the lower left third of the card base.
The fern image was stamped off once with Highland Heather ink onto our Floral Grid Paper then applied to the card base with a Clear Block D as shown.
To create the flowers, I cut a piece of 4 x 4 Very Vanilla Regular CS so I could rotate the CS so the image would stamp in the same place every time. The flower petals were colored with a Regals Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker directly onto the cling mount image and impressed onto the Very Vanilla CS. The stamen, or center, of the flower was colored with Crumb Cake on the outside and Soft Suede in the center from the Neutrals Stampin’ Write Marker Collection. The flowers were cut with their coordinating die and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment from Quite Curvy was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
One large and 2 small Opal Rounds were scattered about the card for embellishment.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
