Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an encouragement card created with Forever Fern.
This is such a simple, yet attractive, card from Forever Fern with one of my new favorite products of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, which is a Hostess item, on page 171 of the new Annual Catalog. The flip side of this perfectly color-coordinated DSP is my long-awaited paper crafting staple of black and white pattern designer series paper.
I love the monochromatic, texture, and dimension of this project. However, I would change the DSP image panel to a Granny Apple Green. I am writing this post on Monday, May 10, and I just might include a video with this one. I know it’s been a while since I’ve done one for you.
As always, your supplies and measurements are below.
I started out with an A2 top-folding card base in Coastal Cabana. I layered on another Coastal Cabana mat with Pattern Party DSP on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The large frame from Nature’s Thoughts Dies was also cut from Coastal Cabana CS and I stamped on the dots from Forever Fern in Coastal Cabana ink. All images and the sentiment is from Forever Fern.
The large leafy image was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and cut with the coordinating die with Granny Apple Green used for the leafy images that I arranged around the Coastal Cabana, which was also die-cut. I glued the tips of the images together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and tied a length of Basic White Twine into a bow with a Mini Glue Dot to hold the twine.
The Basic White Twine is from the new Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, which is absolutely essential with some of our long requested neutral colors.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black in at the bottom center of the image panel that was adhered to the DSP/CS mat on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leafy images were adhered to the top left of the image panel on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two large and 3 small clear Elegant Faceted Gems were scattered about the card front to embellish.
I am featuring the inside of the card for you this time around with and stamped an encouragement sentiment on the inside center with Memento Tuxedo Black ink with a leafy image stamped in Granny Apple Green and die-cut adhered to the bottom lower left.
