Measure of Love + Hostess Pattern Party Designer Series Paper

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a simple stamping card created with the fabulous new Measure of Love stamp set.

We have a lot of new fun cooking and food-themed images in this catalog and this is just one of the stamp sets. There are no dies, but the images are so easy to fussy cut. I have a lot of ideas up my sleeve to create with this, along with What’s Cookin’ and Nothing’s Better Than + other coordinating sets with scale-appropriate images.

Of note, as you look through the Annual Catalog, take note of the Pattern Party 12 x 12 Hostess Designer Series Paper on page 171. The patterns in the DSP are the same as some of our images and Decorative Masks. Can you see a 2-step image above in Measure of Love that matches this pattern below?

On the flip side, the patterns are all black and white, which is an absolute staple that you must have on board.

There are a whopping 48 sheets of 12 x 12 designer series paper of 4 each of 12 double-sided designs of Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Poppy Parade. Of course, with this palate, this DSP is going to coordinate with everything!

I started out with an A2 top-folding Very Vanilla Thick card base and layered on a piece of light woodgrain In Good Taste DSP on top with Seal. I cut the 3rd Stitched Rectangle from the largest from Very Vanilla Regular CS and adhered that to the card base with Seal.

I cut the Soft Suede shelf from Window Flower Box Dies and Balmy Blue 6 x 6 DSP napkin from Stitched So Sweetly using the 2nd scallop rectangle from the smallest. I lined that up under the shelf, snipped the excess off with my Paper Snips, and added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back to adhere after the stamping.

I took the sentiment, bowl, cherries, and stem images with the shelf and centered it all on the image panel from top to bottom. I started to stamp my way up first with the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. The line art image of the bowl was stamped in Daffodil Delight with the solid bowl stamped in So Saffron. The cherries were stamped in Poppy Parade with the stems in Old Olive. Once my stamping was complete, I adhered the shelf to the image panel.

Three Clear Epoxy Essentials were scattered about the image panel. I think this turned out great and was so easy to make. Our products always compliment each other perfectly affording you endless design opportunities.

I hope you enjoyed today’s simple stamping project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
