Fine Art Floral Simple Stamping + Using Up Your Designer Series Paper

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Fine Art Floral Suite Collection project and another reminder to keep using up your expiring designer series paper. This is something all of us can be way better at.

The True Love DSP is my staple favorite of black and white and for the Fine Art Floral DSP, I used Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate.

The Spring Catalog will be retiring on June 30, 2021, and I strongly encourage you to stock up and grab what you can at 50% off/while supplies last and take advantage of my Buy One Get One Free.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I know I keep saying this, but I’m a very firm believer in texture and dimension on all of my projects, and always strive to go outside of the box to add the 1-2 extra elements to take simple stamping to another level.

For this project, the black and white striped True Love DSP on the left with the image panel using silver acetate layered upon Basic White Regular, and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive that I applied behind the silver print, provides the perfect contrast. This panel was adhered to the card base with full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on the DSP described above with the measurements below.

We get so used to putting color on Basic White and this time, I used our exclusive color cardstock in Pear Pizzazz and Flirty Flamingo and applied color 1-2 shades above the cardstock. For the greenery on this project, Old Olive was stamped onto Pear Pizzazz and cut. The large flower from Art Gallery was impressed with Poppy Parade ink onto Flirty Flamingo CS with Real Red as the top accent layer. Three small Matte Black Dots were adhered to the center of the flower as a stamen. Both were adhered with full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped onto Basic Black CS with Versamark ink, heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, cut with a coordinating die from Floral Gallery, and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
