Dandelion Wishes + Pineapple Punch

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project made with Dandelion Wishes and a retiring In-Color of Pineapple Punch.

The beautiful Dandelion Wishes will be carrying over to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This is a delightful Cling Mount stamp set with solid, dandelion-themed images with a variety of mixed font sentiments, that is so versatile for any recipient.

As always, I will have the products and instructions for today’s card below.

There’s some simple stamping, die-cutting, punching, and dry/heat embossing on this card to give it a lot of interest with the great pop of Pineapple Punch, which is retiring in less than 30 days. Retiring products, especially In Colors, have a tendency to fly off the shelf, as all are deeply discounted, so you will want to get yours today. I stamped the large dandelion image onto a piece of Basic Gray cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Any time that you heat emboss, you will want to use your Embossing Buddy to prevent smudges on your cardstock before you stamp the sentiment or image. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black at the bottom right of the mat that I die-cut and used to frame the image, which I centered behind the mat. I placed Black Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the mat/image panel, centered it up on the card base, and adhered.

I colored in our Pearl Basic Jewels with a Basic Black Dark Stampin’ Blends marker and adhered a large one to the center (stamen) of the dandelions. Since these markers are alcohol-based, they dry immediately. A large butterfly from Pineapple Punch cardstock was punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punch, and then run through the Big Shot with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder, which is also carrying over from the Spring Catalog, and adhered to the front of the card as shown.

There’s a lot of texture, dimension, and techniques on this project that is so easy to make, yet packs a punch.

If there’s any project that you would like to see made into a video, please let me know! Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
