Sweet Stockings Suite Collection Meets Poinsettia Petals Bundle

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project created with the Sweet Stockings Sweet Collection and Poinsettia Petals Bundle.

The felt and tag sentiment are from Sweet Stockings. The stamping and heat embossed sentiment are from Poinsettia Petals. I also incorporated the Cherry Cobbler twine from a current Paper Pumpkin Kit.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, with measurements, are below.

Not mentioned in the Supplies is the Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Tool for the embossed sentiment.

I started out with an A2 card base in Basic White Thick and cut a piece of textured Cherry Cobbler CS to 4 x 5-1/4 to use as a mat and sentiment panel. Never be afraid to use 2 sentiments on your card fronts. I stamped the sentiment from Poinsettia Petals in Merry Merlot, covered with clear embossing powder, then heat embossed. You can use clear embossing powder with our ink, which affords you a plethora of various colors and embossing possibilities!

I adhered the Cherry Cobbler panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. From the Poinsettia Dies, I cut 2 of the medium petals, 2 of the small petals, and 2 textured small flowers from Cherry Cobbler Jolly Felt Package, which is part of the Sweet Stockings Suite Collection. I staggered adhered the felt petals together with a small piece of Tear & Tape. Glue Dots or liquid adhesive will not work … trust me on this. The stamen was cut from Old Olive Jolly Felt.

I cut a 3 x 4 piece of Basic White Regular CS for my image panel and stamped the frame of the holly berries in Old Olive, then filled in the berries with the solid image Cherry Cobbler ink, all around the image panel.

I double-wrapped a piece of Cherry Cobbler Twine around the image panel as shown below. The image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Two sprigs from Poinsettia Dies were cut from Old Olive CS.

I stamped the sentiment tucked under the flower onto Basic White Regular and cut the tag from Pretty Pillowbox Dies.

For final assembly of the card, I adhered the felt flower to the image panel with a piece of Tear & Tape at the center or stamen. The 2 Old Olive sprigs were tucked under the poinsettia on the left and adhered with liquid adhesive. The sentiment tag was tucked under the flower and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The image, flower, and sentiment panel was adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals for oodles of dimension. There’s fabulous texture on this card as well.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
