Handmade Holidays with Beauty of Friendship + Snowflake Wishes

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project created for my Handmade Holidays Series featuring Beauty of Friendship and Snowflake Wishes.

Somehow, there’s a lot of unintentional masculine cards in this series that just happened, and I know a lot of you struggle with masculine cards. I hope this gives you some inspiration.

For this card, I did some gold heat embossing and ink splatters.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 landscape Very Vanilla Thick CS and cut a piece of Very Vanilla Regular CS to the measurements below and embossed with the 2nd largest Stitched With Whimsy Die.

I stamped the tree from Beauty of Friendship with Early Espresso ink onto the image panel in varying heights several times.

Did you know that our embossing powders can be used with our ink and not just Versamark?

I sprinkled a bit of gold embossing powder on the right and left of the images and heat set. I stamped the snowflakes from Snowflake Wishes at the top of the image panel in Soft Sea Foam.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.

I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to do some ink splattering. This is done by flicking the brush end of the marker against the cap.

I cut a piece of Cork Specialty Paper to 5-1/4 x 1, laid a piece of Tear & Tape at the very bottom of the image panel, adhered the Cork behind the image panel. I tore the Cork at the bottom to give it a rugged look.

I wrapped Linen Thread around bottom where the card stock meets twice and tied a bow at the left.

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the image panel and adhered to the card base.
