More Sweet Talk + the Inside Story

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project created with the fabulous Sweet Talk Suite Collection + a little about making the inside of your card as beautiful as the outside, or bringing the inside, outside … like A Night at the Roxbury.

This is such an easy card to create with a little ink blending and incorporating the image that we so often overlook in our stamp sets. I used the little polka dot image from the Lots of Puns Paper Pumpkin Kit at the bottom of my image panel that I stamped off with Petal Pink ink.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 landscape Real Red card base and layered on a piece of the multi-colored stripe DSP from Sweet Talk with Seal.

I cut die-cut the scallop from Penned Flowers Dies twice from Real Red CS, as well as cutting 5 hearts from the DSP in multiple colors.

I cut a piece of Basic White CS and lightly ink blended Petal Pink with a Blending Brush in an ombre fashion from the bottom on up about 1/2″-ish. I inked up the polka dot image from Lots of Puns Paper Pumpkin Kit that I stamped off once and stamped this over the ink blending.

I then inserted the image panel into the Stamparatus to lay down the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black a few times.

I added a piece of Tear & Tape above the stitched line on both of the Real Red scallop accents and adhered the image panel to the scallops that was adhered to the card base with Seal.

I added the die-cut hearts with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals starting with the center heart, the far left, far right, and then working towards the center for placement.

I accented the hearts with all of the new 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels that literally go with everything. This is a great card for any age.

For the inside of the card, I cut the image and sentiment panel to the exact size as the DSP that was layered onto the Real Red card base for continuity.

I used a piece of scrap DSP to adhere to the bottom of the image panel with liquid adhesive and stamped the sentiment at the top right with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used Real Red to stamp the left side of the image panel with the X, O, and solid line art randomly whimsy.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
