Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created with the Expressions in Ink Suite Collection from page 96 of the Annual Catalog.
I love this trendy suite, the colors, our exclusive DistInkTive images, die-cuts, everything, and I am so ready for Spring. As I age, I seem to tolerate the cold weather less and less, especially with the plate and pins in my leg.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick CS base and layered on the papers as shown above with liquid adhesive. The gold stripe was trimmed from the edge of an image sheet from the suite’s ephemera pack. The other panels were cut from the Specialty DSP included in the suite. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom left with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I purposely left the inside without a sentiment, but stamped the bottom of the card with an image. I do this frequently so I can customize and personalize the inside of the card.
I moved onto stamping my images onto Basic White CS with the large flowers in Pale Papaya, the small flowers and stamen inside the large flower with Polished Pink, and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. I cut all of the images with their coordinating die and started to arrange my bouquet.
Once I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the entire arrangement, I adhered it to the card base. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the back of the Polished Pink flowers and added to the center of the Pale Papaya large flowers.
I scattered about a few sequins from the suite’s ephemera pack to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
