Retiring Product Inspiration: Art in Bloom Bundle + Flowing Flowers

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a simple stamping project featuring the Art in Bloom Bundle and Flowing Flowers, both of which are retiring in a few short days, along with a retiring In Color of Misty Moonlight, on May 2, 2022.

This is one of those cards where the stark white space is okay, as there is a focused color cluster. The Brushed Brass Butterflies extend the image panel for balance with the sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black + the leaves curled up with my Bone Folder.

This was really easy to make and took 15 minutes at the most.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick card base and cut down the mat and image panel with the measurements listed below, then set everything aside.

I went about stamping the line art floral and leaf images with the solid stamp in our patented Distinktive style.

1. Flowers: Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight.
2. Leaves: Pear Pizzazz.
3. Sentiment: Memento Tuxedo Black

Once the images were stamped, I cut them from their coordinating die-cut.

I curled the leaves up with my Bone Folder, then went about arranging the images to adhere to the Basic White Regular CS.

The Art in Bloom Bundle has 2-step stamping; however, this one is not designed for matchy-matchy, but more for messy watercolor.

I stamped the sentiment onto the image mat in Memento Tuxedo Black and adhered the panel to the Misty Moonlight mat with Seal.

The flowers were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves with liquid adhesive about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom that I tucked under the flowers.

Three Brushed Brass Butterflies were scattered about the image panel.
