Delightful Daisies

Hello there! I needed to do something different today, so I came up with this clean and simple card using punches and dies.

I haven’t seen the sun in weeks, hence the picture over-editing. The Lemon Lime Twist leaves are not true to color. They are paired with Highland Heather with a Smoky Slate base tone-on-tone Handwritten background.

The image panel is detailed with the scallop edge die from Be Mine Stitched on the right. The leaves and daisies were punched out using the Lemon Builder (leaves) and Daisy punches. I used Sponge Daubers to ink the edges of the punched shapes for dimension. I used the large gingham pattern for the leaves and daisies, and the small gingham pattern for the centers of the daisies that I punched out with a 1/2″ punch and inked the edges. I laid the Smoky Slate card front on top of Handwritten background inked up with Smoky Slate for the edge detail next to the scallop. The sentiment is from Artfully Folded.
