Die-Cut Inlay Technique + Making Christmas Bright + Making Every Day Bright Product Showcase Day 2 + Video

Hello there y’all! Was that blog post title long enough? Today I have incorporated the Merry Christmas to All Bundle into our series with non-traditional vibrant colors. A fantastic holiday alternative for white card stock is Shimmer White, which is something I should have used for the panel and bulbs.

We are going to be doing the die-cut inlay technique. This can be a bit labor intensive, depending, but oh what a difference it makes. If anything, you’re forced to focus, and sometimes that’s a good thing. I will demonstrate to you exactly what die-cut inlay technique is in the video below.

You do not have to use designer series paper behind your die-cut. There are some seriously wide open possibilities to this technique and I’ll definitely be exploring them in the near future … especially with what I saw in the 2019 Sale-A-Bration and Spring Occasions Catalog. I hope that you enjoyed today’s project and process video. If you give this technique a try, feel free to link your project in the comments. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. Have a great day and God bless.
