Hello there! I have a flat fold card for you today with the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper and Bloom By Bloom.
The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper is playfully vibrant … and the above is the most mellow pattern in the DSP. I’ll admit that this is loud for my personal taste, but it’s always a challenge to work with something that’s way outside of your box.
Today’s project is a flat fold shoebox type of card. The instructions and measurements are listed below. I didn’t want to add to the busyness of the DSP, so I did the math keeping the image on the small side, and using the paper scrap left over from the cut off the front panel of this 5-1/2 x 2 card. Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick, and Night of Navy was used on the image panel.
The above is the inside of the card with sentiments stamped in Calypso Coral from Beauty Abounds. There’s a lot of illusion in this card. I stamped out another flower in Lovely Lipstick, fussy cut, and adhered to the top of the image on the Whisper White with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

- Night of Navy card base: Cut to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 4-1/4, then cut 2-1/8″ off the 8-1/2 side. Save scrap.
- Front DSP: 5-1/4 x 1-7/8.
- Front Night of Navy flap: Use scrap CS and cut to 4 x 2-1/4.
- Whisper White image panel: 3-3/4 x 2.
- Inside DSP: 5-1/4 x 1.
- Inside Whisper White sentiment panel: 5-1/4 x 3.
Hadn’t seen the dsp before, but it is very cute! I think the rectangle you mounted on the card front tones down the busy-ness of the print. Very sweet card!
