Full of Love + Global Design Project #346 Sketch Challenge

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project created with the Full of Love stamp set from the Annual Catalog and Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper, combined with the sketch challenge over at Global Design Project #346.

Sketches are always up to interpretation by any designer but, the key is to have your end project resemble the sketch. With today’s card, I used a 1/4″ piece of Tea Boutique DSP for the diagonal line and sketch greeting in the image panel of the envelope squiggly lines.

I brought in silver thread that I had to create a thread nest behind the image panel.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a top-folding 4-1/4″ square card base cut from Basic White Thick CS.

I took a 6 x 6 piece of Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper and cut it diagonally from corner to corner. The Petal Pink gingham pattern is on one side with the other of the floral. Another piece of 6 x 6 Tea Boutique DSP in the stripe Crushed Curry and White pattern was cut at 1/4″ width.

The designer series paper was adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

You have to wing your placement and must use 6 x 6 paper for full coverage due to the angle.

Next up is the coloring of my line art image from Full of Love. I stamped the image onto Basic White Thick CS with Smoky Slate ink. Be sure to leave the image on the door of your Stamparatus to re-stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink after you color in the image with our Stampin’ Blends. The colors I used on this image are as follows:

  1. Large leaves: Dark and Light Parakeet Party.
  2. Small leaves: Dark Shaded Spruce.
  3. Large flowers: Dark and Light Sweet Sorbet.
  4. Medium flowers: Dark and Light Petal Pink.
  5. Small flowers 1: Dark and Light Daffodil Delight.
  6. Small flowers 2: Dark Fresh Freesia.
  7. Envelope: Dark Sweet Sorbet and Dark Fresh Freesia.
  8. Envelope outline. Light Smoky Slate blended out with Color Lifter.

Fresh Freesia was brought in as that is a subtle color in the Tea Boutique Suite Collection.

After I heat set the image panel real quick, I cut the image from the 2nd largest Layering Circle Die.

To mat the image panel, the largest circle from Stylish Shapes was cut from Fresh Freesia CS.

The sentiment was stamped at the lower far right corner in Memento Tuxedo Black.

For final assembly, the image panel was adhered to the Fresh Freesia mat with liquid adhesive.

I laid down a tiny bit of Seal on the center back of the image panel to start my silver thread nest. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the image panel and adhered to the card base.

One large and 2 small 2021-2023 Fresh Freesia In Color Opal Rounds were placed to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
