Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project that features strictly die-cutting to create a collage card. These kind of projects make using the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine easy and fun, especially with the numbered plates, so there’s never any confusion how to build your sandwich for your desired effect.
I love creating collage cards. They’re perfect to keep on hand and ready for a quick greeting that you can use for any recipient. On this project, I’m using my color rules for a gender neutral card of Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and Balmy Blue. The more I look at this, I’m going to add another feather at the bottom right for the Rule of Odds. Again, I’ve mixed and matched my die-cuts to get the most out of them. This is why you always shop your stash and never be afraid to mix and match any of our products. They all coordinate.
As you know, I’m a total minimalist, that seems to exacerbate as I age. In these tough economic times and having a strict budget, I pick and choose what I use very wisely. A lot of the times, there’s one element that’s missing somewhere along the way, which I usually alter from my existing stash or dig into my Paper Pumpkin kits.
Right under the bow, there’s a little removable tag that I die-cut from Ornate Frames and modified so that I can stamp a little sentiment on it at a later time. Your shopping list is below and a link to the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is HERE.
Sometimes pictures are worth a thousand words and this is one of them. You can see how I layered the die-cuts. For instance, the Pear Pizzazz feather from Nature’s Thoughts Dies, is adhered with Seal+ towards the stem and with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional at the tip of the feather.
If you’d like to see a video as to how I created this with different colors, please let me know.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
