Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Global Design Project #407, where the theme is Water Creatures.
If this looks familiar to you, it is. I revived the design for the card challenge and went with it. The pearls and ribbon are retired but, we have the exact same products that are currently available rebranded.
This is so simple to create exploring different colors and images, which I’m looking at for my personal Christmas cards from the Holiday Catalog.
Today’s stamp set is Season of Chic, which has images for all of the seasons and would make a great gift set or stocking stuffer.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with my Gray Granite card base and cut the image panel to size. I stamped the sentiment at the lower 1/3 of the image panel from Season of Chic with Early Espresso ink.
I stamped the outline shell onto Crumb Cake CS with Early Espresso ink and cut from its coordinating Chic Dies. I used a Sponge Dauber to slightly apply some leftover Soft Suede ink.
I wrapped my ribbon at the top 1/3 of the image panel and secured it to the back with Scotch Tape. I wrapped Linen Thread around the ribbon x3 and secured it to the back with Scotch Tape.
For final assembly, the image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the ‘bones’ of Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top and bottom of the shell and adhered this over the twine and ribbon.
Lastly, 3 large pearls were adhered to the ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
