Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Global Design Project #418 where there is a sketch challenge.
I flipped the sketch from vertical to horizontal and used a tag versus a circle for my images.
Featured is a new Online Exclusives Fluffiest Friends Bundle that is available to you next week on November 6, along with so many other suite collections, bundles, glimmer paper, and specialty + designer series paper that coordinates beautifully with current products in the Annual and Holiday Catalogs.
Today’s project uses Annual Catalog, Holiday Catalog, and our Kits Collection products.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with my Basic White Thick CS A2 card base and cut the Parakeet Party and Basic White Regular CS to size.
I then cut the Pool Party mat, used a Paper Crimper for the Coastal Cabana mat, cut the Lemon Lime Glorious Gingham DSP to size, and the black and gray panel from Timeless Greetings to size. All of these pieces were adhered together with Seal Adhesive. I used a stapler to accent the bottom right of the Pool Party and crimped Balmy Blue CS.
I also cut the tag from Merriest Trees out of Basic White Regular CS and cut the hole reinforcements from Tailor Made Tags out of Coastal Cabana CS. There is a tag hole reinforcement die in Merriest Trees Dies but, it’s under something somewhere in my space so I winged it. I adhered the tag reinforcements to the tag with liquid adhesive. I stamped off the text sentiment from the Quiet Meadow stamp set in Parakeet Party x3 and made 2 impressions on the right side of the tag. A third impression is stamped at the top left of the card after final assembly. I tied a length of Basic Black Baker’s Twine through the tag reinforcement.
My sentiment is from the Timeless Greetings Kits that was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut from a Gorgeously Made Die.
I pulled my images from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set and laid that down onto Basic White Thick CS with Smoky Slate Ink and left the images on the lid of the Stamparatus. Despite this tool retiring, I kept mine.
I colored the bunny and ground hog images from our Neutrals Stampin’ Blends in the 300-1000 range. The balloon and bird were colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
All of the images were cut from their coordinating Fluffiest Friends Dies.
For final assembly, I adhered the Parakeet Party and Basic White Regular CS to the card base.
The cluster of CS and DSP that I adhered together was laid down with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Stampin’ Dimensionals adhered the tag to the card base, as was the sentiment panel.
The animal images were adhered to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, clear sequins were adhered with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
