Hand-Penned Mother’s Day Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Mother’s Day card created with the stunningly beautiful Hand-Penned Suite Collection.

I brought in the largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper and Word Wishes Dies for the die-cut sentiment.

I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on a piece of Blushing Bride DSP from Hand-Penned with Seal. I die-cut Happy and Day from Old Olive CS with the Word Wishes Dies, then adhered them directly to the DSP at an angle as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive on top of our Silicon Craft Sheet to keep the adhesive off my work space. Don’t forget to save the apostrophe between the R and S!

One of the large flower images was stamped onto Basic White CS with Memento Tuxedo Black with the large flower filled in with Poppy Parade ink, the small flower with Flirty Flamingo + a large Pearl Basic Jewel, and the leaves in Old Olive ink. This image has a coordinating die-cut that I used. The flower was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding was tied into a bow around the bottom stem.

As you can see, there’s great texture and dimension to this card and it was very easy to make, too. Word

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. There’s just a few more days before the new catalog launch and I hope you have your shopping lists together. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
