Hey Birthday Chick

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a scene card created with Hey Birthday Chick. The standalone textured dies are fabulous! Hopefully by now, I’ve done a Facebook Live on this week’s featured bundles. I am planning on doing FBL on Wednesdays at noon CST. A video will be recorded if I didn’t chicken out of the FBL.

I’ve pretty much worked with all of the resources available to me from our product line today as evidenced by the Supply List below. But, it’s how you make it all work for scene cards. This week’s projects both have coordinating products incorporated in from the Annual Catalog.

I used the Layering Squares Die measuring 2-3/4 sq. to die-cut in the window out of our Crumb Cake mat so the All Wired Up background image would show through that was stamped in Crumb Cake onto the Thick Very Vanilla card base. I used the confetti image to stamp around the Crumb Cake frame that was stamped off once. I cut a piece of Granny Apple CS, ran it through the Stampin’ Emboss & Cut Machine in the Subtles EF, then die-cut in the grass from Special Day Dies.

The Real Red barn was die-cut from the coordinating Birthday Chick dies, as was the Basic Black sign and Crumb Cake tree stump that our little egg chick is standing on. Before I adhered the Crumb Cake mat to the Thick Very Vanilla card base, I adhered the Granny Apple Green grass to the back of the mat, but only on the sides and bottom. I wanted the top open so I could tuck in the barn behind the grass.

The rest of the colored, die-cut, and standalone die-cuts were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Basic Black sentiment was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The Basic Black sign was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder.

I will have the colors listed for you below of the Stampin’ Blends that I used for the line art images.

The products I forgot to list below are Soft Suede and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, and the Special Day die-cuts.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
