Ink Blending | Something Fancy

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for some simple ink blending with Something Fancy for the sentiment, accenting with white craft ink over the embossed panel and used for the splatters.

This was super easy and quick to make yet provides some great visual interest.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started with my Basic White Thick CS base and then cut the ink blending panel to size.

I started using Calypso Coral at the bottom with a Blending Brush and blended|applied my ink up towards the center in an ombre fashion. I repeated this at the top with Polished Pink. Polished Pink is retiring and I’m going to miss this color. It’s become a favorite and I am not a hot pink person.

After I achieved the result I was after, I ran the panel through the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. I swiped White Craft Ink over the embossed panel that really makes the makes it all pop.

For the splatters, I dipped a dry paint brush into White Craft Ink refill and tapped it over the panel.

The sentiment from Something Fancy was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS and punched out with a 2″ Punch.

For final assembly, I wrapped Basic White Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and secured it to the back with Scotch Tape. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere the panel to the base of the card.

The sentiment circle was adhered to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I tied a bow around the Baker’s Twine and added an Iridescent Pearl to the sentiment circle.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
