A Sneak Peek into the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog with Hues of Happiness Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a peek into the new Hues of Happiness Suite Collection … and this is one of my favorites.

You have the line art images to color and the option of using the dies to cut the designer series paper. The fonts are a combination of type and script. This suite is one that you can have your cake and eat it too thing. This is a staple that you can use all year by changing out the colors. You will be seeing this suite collection featured frequently.

This Annual Catalog is big on stand-alone dies in pennants, banners, stitched shapes, cover plates, all of which I consider must-have staples.

The new Sun Prints Designer Series Paper was used for my image mat. The Sun Prints Gray Granite pattern that I used has a very light white scripty print in the background, which is amazing. When I brought in the white scripty Vellum Layering Designs with the white craft ink splatters, the script in the DSP jumps to the forefront.

A new circle shape is introduced that was adhered to the vellum of Beautiful Shapes.

All of my images were cut from the coordinating designer series paper in the Hues of Happiness Suite Collection.

Today’s new products featured will be available to you on May 3, 2022.

I’m working on a coordinating notebook for this project that I will share with you upon completion. The concept is in my head, but not in physical form yet.

The colors in this suite collection are incredible, as shown below.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Gray Granite card base and cut a piece of Sun Prints DSP to 4 x 5-1/4 that I used my Paper Snips to distress the edges for a little shabby vibe. I used my Bone Folder to curl up the edges of the DSP and adhered this panel to the card base with Seal. I then splattered White Craft Ink onto the card base and image mat with a Water Painter.

I cut a piece of white script Layering Vellum Designs with the largest Layering Circle Die and the largest circle from the new Beautiful Shapes Dies, that I adhered to the center of the vellum with liquid adhesive.

Next, I started to die-cut my floral and leaf images from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.

To get the most out of the designer series paper, use your Paper Snips to trim around images you know you can’t die-cut to capture the images you can.

The sentiment was stamped onto Early Espresso CS with Versamark and heat embossed with our white powder. I trimmed the sentiment panel up to size so I could punch the ends with our Banners Pick A Punch. The floral stamens are Early Espresso in the DSP, which is why I chose this for my sentiment panel … that Rule of 3’s thing. The stamens are a subtle ink Early Espresso. When you bring in the same color cardstock, it’s a game changer.

This suite collection is all about roses.

For final assembly, I adhered the vellum/Basic White CS circles to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then arranged my die-cut florals to the center left of the circles that I adhered with a combination of liquid adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I folded up the edges of the images with my Bone Folder.

The sentiment was adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Five Faux Sea Glass Shapes were scattered about to embellish.

As a minimalist, this suite collection is perfect for my stash. You have the line art images with the option to color for any season, the die-cut DSP capabilities, and the incredible stand-alone die-cuts … one of which is a spiral notebook paper edge.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!

  1. What die did you use to cut the flowers and leaves from the DSP? Or did you trim by hand? Thank you!
