Joy To You | Traditions of Saint Nick Designer Series Paper

Hello there! I can’t believe it’s already November!

Thank you for joining me today for a twisted panel card featuring the Joy To You stamp set and Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper. The DSP is part of our Online Exclusives and coordinated beautifully with the Saint Nicholas Bundle in the Holiday Catalog.

The twine was brought in from Paper Pumpkin Kits and embellished with Festive Jewels. This type of card is so easy to make, a great way to use up your DSP, and something quick in a jif.

With the colors used on these cards, they are a bit towards the masculine side … even with the fun prints. Both cards were created exactly the same sans the Real Red and Cherry Cobbler CS and twine.

I started out with my Early Espresso card bases … and wished I had used Pebbled Path but, it still worked.

I cut my Real Red and Cherry Cobbler mats to size, as well as the Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper.

I adhered the DSP to the Real Red and Cherry Cobbler mats with liquid adhesive. I then wrapped the twine around both cards and secured to the back of the CS with Scotch Tape.

I adhered the mats to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Before heat embossing, you want to treat your CS with an Embossing Buddy. I stamped the sentiment from Joy To You onto Real Red and Cherry Cobbler CS with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white powder then cut to size.

For final assembly, the sentiments were adhered to the cards with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow to the left of the sentiment panel with twine from my Paper Pumpkin Kits.

Green Festive Pearls were used to further embellish.
