Jungle Pals | Sale-A-Bration 2024

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from the fun Jungle Pals stamp set and coordinating die-cuts from the 2024  Sale-A-Bration Brochure and much like last Thursday’s card, Lemon Lime Twist with Basic Black. This is a really clean and simple project to make. The designer series paper adds a ton of texture and dimension. All of our other colors would look great with this child friendly design.

Zany Zoo was brought in for the sentiments along with Masterfully Made DSP, Stylish Shapes Dies, Banner Punch, and some black and white twine from my stash.

I did heat emboss the tiger in clear powder that I forgot to include in the Supplies. I clear heat emboss black images a lot to prevent smearing if I don’t give it enough dry time, as permanent black ink can be temperamental at times.

After Sale-A-Bration ends, I’m going to keep this bundle on board. The standalone dies in Jungle Pals are fabulous staples, as well as the images.

I started out with a landscape A2 Basic Black card base and layered on a piece of Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper with Seal Adhesive.

I wrapped my black and white twine around the top of the card that was knotted to the left.

The process is much easier when I have an actual concept to work off of, which I usually do, and that entails me building my elements up or down out of order to make it all work.

In this instance, I laid out a piece of Basic White Regular CS, placed my square Stylish Shapes Die on the CS, cut my Jungle Pals greenery from Lemon Lime CS, tucked the die under the square frame, and placed|stamped my sentiment from Zany Zoo with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, which was then die-cut.

The tiger was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, heat embossed with clear powder, then cut from it’s coordinating Jungle Pals Die.

I cropped and Banner punched a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper.

For final assembly, I adhered the banner under the square with liquid adhesive and since the die-cut greenery embedded itself into the square during die-cutting, a dot of liquid adhesive was added to the tip of the leaves to fully secure.

The entire square panel was adhered to the card base with Seal.

The tiger was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I colored a Flat Adhesive Backed Pearl with a Dark Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blend Marker and adhered this under one of the tiger paws.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
