Just a Little Watercoloring | So Sincere Stamp Set | Artistic Dies

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy messy watercolor autumnal project featuring the So Sincere stamp set and Artistic Dies with clear sequins to embellish.

I hope you’re enjoying your Halloween. We dressed as Coneheads this past weekend and it was so much fun!

I spent more time prepping everything to watercolor and cleaning up than on the project itself. After all of this, the watercolored large leafy Artistic Die was not quite dry yet so I took a heat tool to the image panel and the leafy die to set real quick.

Heather Highland was the perfect choice for the card base and enhances the Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight.

I’ve been big into Vellum CS lately. It’s just such a fun accent to use. I had the clear sequins in my stash from a long retired product … the staple thing.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Highland Heather card base and cut a piece of Vellum CS to measure 5-1/4″ in length. I tore the left side of the Vellum CS and then adhered this to the card base on the right with Seal Adhesive. I then cut my Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper to size.

I pulled out my Ink Refills in Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, and Smoky Slate.

I watercolored the left and bottom of the image panel with Smoky Slate and set aside to dry.

I cut the large leafy die from Artistic Dies from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and mixed my refills with water. Using the medium Watercolor Brush, Daffodil Delight was applied to the bottom with Pumpkin Pie next, Poppy Parade, and then Highland Heather.

I heat set the watercolored panel and image.

The sentiment from So Sorry was stamped at the bottom right with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

For final assembly, Tear & Tape was added to the back of the watercolored image panel and adhered to the card base.

The leafy die-cut was adhered with liquid adhesive.

To embellish, various sizes of clear sequins were scattered about.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
