Let’s Craft & Create #209 | July 2024 Online Exclusives: Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #209 where the theme is always Anything Goes with an option. For July, the option is buttons, that I’m unable to pull off for the simple fact that I don’t have any.

I’m using the fabulous large new Online Exclusives Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection that is an absolute must have. The designer series paper is outstanding with vellum and regular DSP that the majority of die-cuts coordinate with … all of which is now available to you as a fun Christmas in July.

This project is all die-cutting with the exception of the sentiment. The gold accents in the designer series paper steps the elegance up a bit.

The frames (which I’m a huge fan of), the sentiments, the bells, and the rest of the images … this can go to weddings and pretty much any occasion.

That’s what I really appreciate about Online Exclusives because there is no retirement date and part of what I would call core basics. The frames in this suite collection are to die for with 2-step stamping + vellum paper that is thick and colorful enough that easily hides adhesive.

I brought in Gold Satin Edged Ribbon and Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots, both of which are Online Exclusives, to embellish.

My image panel is the woodgrain pattern from To Market Designer Series Paper embossed in Exposed Brick, which adds more texture and dimension to the designer series paper.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding Early Espresso card base and cut a piece of Pecan Pie CS as a mat to adhere my To Market DSP to that was embossed with Exposed Brick, both of which were adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive and Seal.

I then went about die-cutting every image that I could from both packages of designer series paper in the suite collection from the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Greetings of the Season onto Early Espresso CS, heat embossed with white powder, then cut from a coordinating Greetings of the Season Dies.

I adhered the die-cut greenery behind the sentiment with liquid adhesive and then adhered all of it to the card base with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals more so towards the right of the card for the bow.

For final assembly, I tucked a few vellum die-cut berries from Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper around the cut images and embellished with several Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Lastly, I tied a length of Gold Satin Edged Ribbon into a bow and adhered it to the left of the sentiment.

For the inside, I cut a piece of Pecan Pie CS to mat the sentiment|image panel. The To Market leftover DSP was adhered to the bottom of Very Vanilla CS. The sentiment from Greetings of the Season was stamped in Early Espresso ink.

The inside greenery was cut from the suite collection DSP out of a partial image on the edge of the DSP. Don’t toss these images, especially one as large as above. Use them to embellish somewhere when you can.

The woodgrain envelope is from the May 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
