Let’s Craft & Create #211 | Use a Sketch

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create #211, where the theme is always Anything Goes with an optional twist. For September, it is to simply use a sketch, so I made up my own.

The gorgeous Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (164120) is from the Holiday Catalog, which went live yesterday.

There is a lot of heat embossing on this card with clear and gold powder, as well as bringing in household items of a stapler and gold paper clip. I pretty much just brought together my products and went from there.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick CS base and cut a piece of Pool Party to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I stamped the Pool Party CS with Sketched Plaid in Versamark and heat set using gold powder. This panel was adhered directly atop the card base with Seal Adhesive.

Next, I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 3-3/4 square. I lightly swiped the edges using a Versamark pad and gold powder that was heat set.

The large heart from Hooray For Surprises was stamped in Pool Party ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.

I cut a length of Very Vanilla 3/4″ Satin Ribbon, stapled it to the top of the image panel, then cut in a V.

I cut the solid star die from Merriest Trees out of gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper.

The image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, the gold paperclip was attached to the right of the image panel with the gold star adhered on top of this with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
