Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #198 | Dots or Stripes

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #198 where everything always goes with an optional theme and hope that you join us. This month’s optional theme is dots and/or stripes.

For today’s card, I’m using the fabulous Bright & Beautiful Suite Collection in Fresh Freesia with the Celebrations Tag Dies.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Fresh Freesia card base and then cut my Basic White Regular CS and Bright & Beautiful DSP to size, as well as both tags from Fresh Freesia CS and Basic White Regular CS.

I adhered the DSP to the Basic White Regular CS mat with liquid adhesive and set the panel aside to work on later.

I then went about my stamping using the banner image stamped in Fresh Freesia on the Fresh Freesia CS tag. For the Basic White Regular CS tag, I inked up the large speckled balloon image, stamped it off twice, and then onto my CS.

The balloon and tassel were stamped in Fresh Freesia ink onto Fresh Freesia CS and then cut from their coordinating Beautiful Balloons Dies.

I positioned the sentiment onto the Basic White Regular CS tag and stamped this with Fresh Freesia ink.

For final assembly, I adhered my tags using liquid adhesive at an angle as shown above. I then tied the beautiful Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon through the tag holes. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the tags and adhered this to the DSP panel. On the flip side of the entire panel, I added a piece of Tear & Tape at the top, folded the ribbon over, and then adhered the entire panel to the card base with Tear & Tape.

The balloon and tassel were adhered to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete embellishing, 6 Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls were adhered.

The inside of the card also uses the same pattern of DSP as the outside with a tag cut from Beautiful Balloons Dies and stamped with a sentiment from Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink. Silver trim was looped through right side of the tag and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
