Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #207, where the challenge is always Anything Goes with an optional twist. For this month’s challenge, the option is to incorporate Baby Blue or Pretty Pink, and hope that you join us.
I went with the blue option to create this floral piece using Boho Blue, Balmy Blue, and Misty Moonlight, along with the Hooray For Surprises Bundle and Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below. I forgot to include the retiring Banner Punch, which I will be keeping.
I started out with a Misty Moonlight A2 card base and layered on a piece of floral Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.
From the Hooray For Surprises Bundle, the large flower was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Misty Moonlight ink and cut from its coordinating die. I also cut one of the standalone leafy dies from Balmy Blue CS. A striped piece of Countryside Inn DSP was cut and bannered on the right.
I laid out the above to determine how to cut my Basic White Regular CS image panel and Boho Blue CS mat. I stamped the sentiment at the top right with Boho Blue ink and adhered this to the Boho Blue CS mat.
I added a loop of Boho Blue Textured Ribbon behind the image panel on the left.
For final assembly, the leafy cut and banner were adhered with liquid adhesive. The large flower was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To embellish, 3 Night of Navy Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were scattered.
Lastly, the image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
