Make the Card Challenge #31, Sketch Challenge

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a sketch challenge at Make the Cards Challenge and hope that you join us!

I brought out the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle to create a magical coffee card in a Halloween color palate. Coffee definitely feels like magic to me in the morning. This was very easy to make with a lot of dimension.

For this project, I used an A2 Landscape fold for the card base and layered on a piece of Peaceful Place DSP and a strip of Cute Halloween DSP.

I die-cut the Gray Granite image panel from Basic Borders and embossed it with the Hello Embossing Folder in Thanks & Hello.

Take note that I intentionally arranged the embossing folder so that Hello would be right in the middle of the panel for a Hello Coffee! sentiment.

I cut a length of twine from Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack and tied it around the image panel bowing off to the top left. Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the back of the image panel.

I stacked the Coffee die-cut from the Love You More Than Dies from Cute Halloween DSP 5x. This gives some great dimension and presence to a smaller die-cut sentiment. I used the exclamation point from Playful Alphabet. All of this was adhered with liquid adhesive.

I then stamped out 4 coffee cup line art images onto a piece of 4 x 4 Basic White Regular CS so I could simply turn the CS around in the Stamparatus and impress the image. Be sure to flip the lid or door over on your Stamparatus so you can put the filler coffee cup image on the clean door to impress. After this was done, I flipped the lid back over and re-stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black to freshly define the line art images.

When I use the filler image, notice how it stamps in the same place every single time. The filler images were stamped in fun fall/Halloween colors of Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Gorgeous Grape.

I applied 2 Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each coffee cup and adhered to the Gray Granite banner.
