Make the Cards Challenge #31 with a Back on Your Feet Get Well Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for our challenge at Make the Cards Challenge, #MTCC31, where we have a 3-2-1 Challenge for you below, and hope that you join us.

Pack away the colors that I used for your next masculine card.

And here is my design for this challenge. My 3 colors of card stock are in the same color family of white, browns, and grays. My critter image is a sloth. A stencil pattern from Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks was ink blended onto Basic White CS with one of our Blending Brushes in Crumb Cake.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on a piece of the new and gorgeous Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper, that is available to you in our Sale-A-Bration Catalog, until the end of September, with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. This DSP perfectly coordinates with the Hand-Penned Suite Collection in our Annual Catalog.

Using the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Die, I cut a piece of Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper from our Holiday Catalog, that was layered on top of the card base with liquid adhesive.

The Crumb Cake Blending Brush panel was created with a stencil from Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks, die-cut from the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Die, and adhered with liquid adhesive. I also tapped the ink off several times on my Grid Paper to lighten up the Crumb Cake ink.

I then tied a length of Crumb Cake Twine from our Essentials Basics twice around the center of the card base with the bow to the right.

The Crumb Cake CS image and sentiment panel was cut from Hippo & Friends Dies. I do not have this stamp set, but picked up the dies for the 9 frames and other fun embellishments, as how I used the Floral Heart Dies to cut the hearts from Cherry Cobbler CS.

My sentiments were stamped at the top and bottom of the Crumb Cake image panel with Tuxedo Memento Black. The sloth was stamped onto Soft Suede CS in Memento Tuxedo Black and then fussy cut.

The Crumb Cake image panel and sloth image were both adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

You can see the great texture and dimension on this project. I adhered 5 of the Cherry Cobbler hearts from Floral Hearts onto the card with liquid adhesive for pops of color.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
