Make the Cards Challenge 44 – Winter + Handmade Holidays Inspiration

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Make the Cards Challenge 44, where our theme is Winter, and hope that you participate along with us; as well as a continuation of my Handmade Holidays series.

I went very monochromatic and masculine with this project, much like last week’s card for this challenge. After the beginning of the year, we will be switching to a bi-weekly challenge.

This card was so easy to make with stamping, stamping off, and some ink blending, on this 1-layer card.

The color combinations are endless to recreating this project!

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 landscape card base in Crumb Cake and first stamped several of the snowflake images from Snowflake Wishes with our Whisper White Craft Ink Pad around the edges of the card base. I then smudged on with my index finger the same craft white ink around the edges.

I moved on to stamp several snowflakes with Cinnamon Cider ink around the card base with one small image being stamped off once.

After I stamped the snowflake images, I inked up a Blending Brush with Cinnamon Cider ink and applied the ink where I wanted to stamp the 2 sentiments in Evening Evergreen ink, for a great combination of our In Colors spanning over 2 years.

I added an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Basic White Regular CS and cut 3 snowflakes from So Many Snowflakes Dies. I peeled off the backing and adhered to the card base as shown, trimming off any excess with my Paper Snips.

To embellish the snowflakes, I added 3 large Evening Evergreen Jewels from our 2021-2022 In Color Jewels.

For the inside of the card, I stamped one of the multi-image snowflake images around the outer edge in Cinnamon Cider ink. I cut a piece of Basic White CS with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die and stamped 2 snowflakes as shown, then added my sentiments from Heartfelt Wishes in Evening Evergreen ink. This panel was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
