Make the Cards Challenge #36 – Sketch with Harvest Meadow Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Make the Cards Challenge 36, #MTCC36, where we have a sketch challenge for you and hope that you join us!

The sketch shows a landscape slimline card, but I went with standard landscape A2.

I decided to create this card using our Harvest Meadow Suite Collection with the designer series paper and stand-alone dies as focal points.

This is another very easy card to create with simple stamping.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 landscape card base in Misty Moonlight and layered on the Harvest Meadow DSP and Cork Specialty Paper as shown above with Seal.

Two of the large stand-alone branch Harvest Dies were cut from Soft Suede CS and adhered with liquid adhesive.

I cut the small oval frame die from Hippo & Friends Die out of Misty Moonlight CS. I wrapped our Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around the Misty Moonlight frame twice that was secured to the back of the frame with a piece of Scotch tape. I cut 2 more lengths of twine and tied this into a bow at the left of the frame. I adhered Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the frame to adhere to the card base.

I then stamped the sentiment out in Misty Moonlight ink onto a piece of Basic White Regular and cut from the small frame Harvest Dies. I placed Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment panel and adhered to the top of the Misty Moonlight frame mat.

As you can see above, there’s a lot of the usual texture and dimension that I like to feature on my projects.

2. Top DSP mat: Multi-color floral pattern from Harvest Meadow DSP, 5-1/2 x 2-1/2.
3. Bottom DSP mat: Calypso Coral branch script pattern from Harvest Meadow DSP, 5-1/2 x 1-3/4.
4. Center strip DSP: Cork Specialty Paper, 5-1/2 x 3/4″.
5. Sentiment mat: Smallest oval shape die from Hippo & Friends Dies, Misty Meadow CS.
6. Sentiment panel: Small rectangular die from Harvest Dies, Basic White CS.
