Make the Cards Challenge 39 + a Sneak Peek into Spring 2022 with Heart & Home Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a sneak peek into a new suite collection from the Spring or January – June 2022 Catalog.

This was created from Heart & Home Suite Collection that includes a Cling Mount stamp set, coordinating dies, yummy designer series paper, Denim Ribbon, and Classic Matte Dots in our favorite neutral colors in 2 sizes! This is such a girly suite collection with masculine colors affording you endless creating opportunities. You will be seeing more of this suite collection after Christmas.

I made this project for Make the Cards Challenge #39, #MTCC39, where we have a sketch challenge and hope that you join us!

Below is a peek of the Heart & Home Suite Collection that I spread out on my work area.

The backside of the DSP is a Basic White and Smoky Slate woodgrain in various orientations and textures, which I do consider a paper crafting staple and really look forward to using this with my autumn and Christmas projects. I love the versatility in how our products are designed.

Your Instructions with measurements are below. The Heart & Home Suite Collection will not be available to you until January 4, 2022.

Stampin’ Up! is known for their perfect product coordination and the current Bumblebee Trinkets work beautifully with this suite collection, which I brought in for this card.

I started out with an A2 top-folding card base in Basic Gray and cut a mat from the largest Scalloped Contour Die from Heart & Home Designer Series Paper that I adhered to the card base with Seal.

For the image panel, I cut another piece of Basic Gray CS and Heart & Home DSP from the Scalloped Contour Dies. The DSP was adhered to the Basic Gray mat with Deal. Black Stampin’ Dimensionals were placed on the back of the Basic Gray image panel and adhered to the card base. I white heat embossed a piece of Cinnamon Cider CS with our white powder for the sentiment.

I stamped the floral image onto Pale Papaya CS with Basic Gray ink and heat embossed with clear powder, which was then cut from its coordinating die from Flowers of Home.

I the image to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added the sentiment panel with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, then scattered about 3 adorable Butterfly Trinkets from my current stash to finish the card base.

For the inside, I cut a piece of Basic White CS with the largest Scalloped Contours Die, stamped the image in Pale Papaya, and used leftover scraps of the DSP and a piece of Basic Gray CS for the bottom. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black with another cute Butterfly Trinket was adhered to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
