Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Make the Cards Challenge 48, where we have a sketch for you and hope that you join us!
With sketch challenges, it’s a matter of interpretation without the sketch being unrecognizable.
Sketches are literally the foundation of paper crafting. I start out with what I’m in the mood to work with and pretty much wing it from there. I do have a tendency to CASE myself with sketches or have one provided to me, like our challenge today.
I made this project with our amazing You’re a Peach Suite Collection that was so easy to pull together.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with a top-folding Early Espresso card base and layered a piece of You’re a Peach DSP on top. I cut the Early Espresso image panel and used the Timeworn Type EF then adhered this to the card base with liquid adhesive.
I stamped the peach cluster image in Early Espresso for the branches, Pear Pizzazz for the leaves, and Daffodil Delight with Pumpkin Pie for the peaches. The images were cut with their coordinating die. I adhered the peaches to the branch with liquid adhesive and then placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the images that was adhered to the card base.
I tucked a piece of Pale Papaya & White Woven Ribbon under the peach on the right.
To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto Bumblebee CS and then cut from its coordinating die. The larger sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base with Early Espresso ink as well.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
