Hello there y’all! This week, I’m featuring the Making Christmas Bright Photopolymer Bundle with the coordinating Making Every Day Bright stamp set. These two products are great together and I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with them.
Today’s card is clean and simple. It’s the colors and card size that steps the usual CAS card up a few. There’s just a little math involved, but keeping the hand-drawn lines all the way around the image panel at exactly 1/8″ provides a solid frame around the panel. It absolutely helps to use your Grid Paper.
The birds were colored with Pool Party Blends and the light bulbs were colored in with markers of Blushing Bride, Pool Party, and Soft Sea Foam. The string of lights was stamped twice with Memento Tuxedo Black. I turned the image upside down to get the bulbs staggered and reversed the coloring pattern so that the colors would not mesh too much.
