Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Valentine’s Day card made with Meant to Be and Stitched Be Mine die-cuts, inspired by Nicole Vogeli.
I am not one for Valentine’s Day at all. Meant to Be and Stitched Be Mine Dies are a carryover from last year’s Spring Catalog. I used the heart dies from Stitched Be Mine to die-cut the rainbow hearts from Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie (the only heart stamped with an image from Meant to Be), Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and Highland Heather. All of the hearts, with the exception of the Pumpkin Pie die-cut, were adhered with liquid glue.
I used a small line image from Artisan Textures in Crumb Cake stamped off twice onto Very Vanilla Thick CS. The focal point on the card is the Layered Squares die-cut that I made a frame out of by cutting the scallop square and placing a smaller square die inside and cutting that you. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the frame and Pumpkin Pie heart. Never be afraid to mix up your neutrals when it comes to Whisper White and Very Vanilla. It offers a striking contrast. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black from Parcels & Petals.
For the card drive details, I saw a request in the local news that an elderly gentleman wished to have Valentine’s Day cards sent to him. Here is where you can send a card to:
Operation Valentine, Attn: Major Bill White, USMC (Ret.), The Oaks at Inglewood, 6725 Inglewood Ave., Stockton CA 95207.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I hope that you join me tomorrow for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges. Have a great day and God bless.
