Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from the Merry Bold & Bright Suite Collection that you can find on pages 8-9 of the Holiday Catalog, which should have arrived in your mail by now.
This is a fabulous suite collection with a retro vibe of vintage bulbs, fantastic block sentiments, fun designer series paper, foil sheets, amazing standalone die-cuts, iridescent ribbon, and embellishments. The creative opportunities are endless and this is one of my favorites in this catalog.
The colors in Merry Bold & Bright Suite Collection are very merry bold & bright of Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, and Blueberry Bushel.
The firmaments and sentiment were heat embossed with retired Shimmer White Powder and current White Powder. I also used all 3 of our gray colors to compliment each other. This helps break up my stark white background, as does the dry embossing with the new Christmas Tidings EF + my favorite Festive Pearls in silver. The sentiment was cut from Stitched Rectangles, which I inadvertently left off the Supplies, as well as the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below. The Shopping List is partial as the suite collection is not available to the public until September 6, 2023.
I started out with my Gray Granite landscape 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card base and cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 5-1/4 x 4 that I embossed with the new Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder. I adhered this, my image panel, to the card base with Seal Adhesive.
I then went about stamping my bulbs in Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, and Blueberry Bushel. I then went back around the bulbs and stamped the firmaments in Versamark, covered with Shimmer White Embossing Powder, and used my Heat Tool to set. I used the coordinating bulb die to cut the images.
I cut 4 standalone ornament caps from Merry & Bright Dies from Smoky Slate CS and colored them with a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
I cut one of the rope line dies from Basic Gray CS. The sentiment was stamped onto Basic Gray CS and heat embossed with white powder then cut from a Stitched Rectangle Die.
For final assembly, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the bulbs and started to adhere the bulbs to the line to the image panel at the same time. This was mainly because I knew I was not going to adhere the line and leave it freestanding. The bulbs keep the line in place.
The sentiment was also adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Give silver Festive Pearls were used to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
