Hello there! I’m back today with more Magnolia Lane and some messy watercoloring.
I’m going to move to my summer schedule a few weeks early due to backyard flooding and a recent significant overall destash of everything that wasn’t sparking joy. I’m going to continue my simple stamping videos on Saturday alternating with 3-4 weekly posts. I highly recommend the Konmari Method. I feel so much better with a tremendous amount of mental weight lifted from not being in bondage to stuff. It’s awesome. Onto my card …
All of the products used on today’s card are from the June 4, 2019, release of Magnolia Lane Product Suite. To request a catalog, please contact me. I love messy watercoloring for the perfect imperfections allowing the color to drop and flow. I like to layer my color on letting it dry naturally then adding more. I used various shades of green for the leaves and Petal Pink was used on the magnolia.
The coordinating designer series paper, ribbon, and die-cuts were used as accents with the image on Stampin’ Dimensionals for dimension on this very clean and simple card. The watercoloring is the wow factor that I spoke of in this video to where you need only one focal point on a clean card that draws the eye in.
Here’s a closer view of the messy watercoloring. It’s such a fun and easy technique with no rules. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. I will be back on Thursday as I’m no longer 2 weeks ahead of the game. Have a great day and God bless.
