More Christmas in July Inspiration with Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for more Christmas in July inspiration featuring the new Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection, which is one of my favorite suites, from the new 2021 Holiday Catalog, available to you on August 3 until January 3, 2022. I love the non-traditional colors that this suite affords you of Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, and Iridescent in the Wonderful Snowflakes foil snowflakes that are included with the suite collection.

Included in the Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection is the Whimsical Trees Bundle of Whimsical Trees Stamp Set + Christmas Trees Dies, Blushing Bride 3/8″ Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon, Wonderful Snowflakes Iridescent Foil Snowflakes, and 12 x 12 Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper.

I used a basic sketch for this card and really utilized the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper stamping my Christmas tree on a Mint Macaroon diamond pattern and fussy cutting the presents from the DSP to adorn the tree.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out with an A2 Mossy Meadow card base and layered on 2 pieces of DSP in the Mossy Meadow/Basic White polka dot pattern on the bottom and holly berry print on top, that was adhered with Seal. I cut and adhered a length of the Blushing Bride ribbon around the center of the card base with the ends over the right side of the card. I tied a piece of Gray Granite Baker’s Twine from the Essentials Pack around the Blushing Bride ribbon, as shown.

I cut the 2nd largest frame from Ornate Layers with Blushing Bride CS for the image panel mat and adhered that to the center of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle from Basic White Regular CS. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink at the top left of the image panel.

The Christmas tree was stamped with Old Olive ink onto the Mint Macaron diamond pattern Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper with the coordinating overlay image stamped over the tree in Polished Pink. The tree was cut from it’s coordinating die and adhered to the image panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Two presents were fussy cut from the DSP and adhered under the tree with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A tiny star was cut from the Christmas Tree Dies from a Silver Foil Sheet and adhered to the top of the tree with liquid adhesive.

The image panel was adhered to the Blushing Bride CS frame with Seal.

This was a really simple card to make that really took no time at all. I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!

As we wrap up my Christmas in July, I have my absolute favorite suite collection that I’m sharing with you next week of Painted Christmas. Remember Painted Seasons a few years ago that I couldn’t put down? This one is just like it with all sorts of stunning embellishments in this collection. I hope that you join me and get your shopping list ready!
